Take-home company vehicle for fully certified Sheet Metal Workers. Shifts: Work hours are flexible to keep up with the workflow, but the general hours are starting at 7:00 am and finish at approximately 4:30 pm. Requirements: Apprentice roles: 1st-year to 4th-year Apprentices of a Sheet Metal Worker 308A program. Certified: Red Seal or Journey-level certification 308A Sheet Metal Worker certification. Level 2 Gas Fitter certification an asset. Proficiency in commercial rooftop installs preferred. Experience in both the residential and commercial marketplace is an asset. Must hold a valid driver’s license. Own tools required. Punctual, responsible, dependable and have a positive attitude towards work. Strive for perfection and manage your time well. Team player and able to complete work independently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Install sheet-metal ductwork, pipework, ventilation, and make-up air systems according to drawings, specifications and building codes. Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules. Organizing and coordinating with the installation team to ensure project requirements are delivered. Sheet-metal measuring, cutting, fitting, joining, and fabrication. Other duties as required.
